The many faces of Shelby

A series of pastel paintings of my personal horse on wood panel. This was my first series of horses on wood panel. My personal horse is very characteristic, and I have captured many silly photos of her expressions. Thes paintings are a new perspective eliminating backgrounds. This series helped create my artist statement expressed on my homepage.
